How 1up Patient Access Works
- Send your member data, including prior authorization data, to the 1up FHIR Platform. It will be converted to FHIR format and exposed via the Patient Access API.
- Qualifying third-party applications register on the 1up FHIR Platform. They’re granted scoped permissions to read-only APIs to access the clinical, claims, encounter, and prior authorization data.
- Your members use their insurance credentials to authorize sharing their data with third-party applications of their choice.
- You can use 1up reporting tools to generate and share annual required Patient Access API usage metrics with CMS.
