"....the opportunity to help Ricky Sahu and the 1upHealth team is so exciting to me. In its short history, 1upHealth is already helping re-imagine healthcare through its efforts to make health information truly computable...I am excited about the opportunity ahead, not just for me or 1upHealth, but for the patients and providers who will ultimately benefit from the foundation we are building."

Feature 1up CEO, Ricky Sahu, Joined AHIP To Discuss Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule

The Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule is designed to put a patient’s health record in the palm of their hand. But once we get past the platforms, apps and APIs, what does it really mean for the patients? The panel discussed how patients can actually make use of interoperability to gain greater access to their health records — everything from showing their list of medicines to a new doctor to verifying that their first-grader has the proper Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccination to enter school. It is not about the technology. It is about the peace of mind the technology brings. Learn more.

FHIR API Platform

Feature Purge Beta Release

We have added an endpoint to our FHIR servers for DSTU2, STU3, and R4 to delete ALL resources for a specific FHIR version under a single 1up user ID for which a client ID has authority to do so. You can access this endpoint using either a Bearer token, or using header-based authentication.
curl --location --request DELETE '' \
--header 'client_id: xxxx' \
--header 'client_secret: yyy' \
--header 'Authorization: Bearer zzzz'

Feature $everything start, end R4 params

We have added additional search params to R4 $everything query for start and end. This allows you to retrieve all resources for a given Patient for a specific timeframe. See more information here:
A chained search allows a search to traverse references within the context of a query. The basic syntax for a chained search is:
1up APIs support single-level chained searches. You can't do a chained search using more than one level of chaining.

Feature New Endpoints Added to 1up FHIR Endpoint Directory

We've added more health plans to our endpoint directory, which includes health plans (payers), health systems (providers), and other FHIR® API connections. To access the 1up FHIR endpoint directory, visit here.
