Additionally, on Wednesday, March 11, 1upHealth CEO Ricky Sahu was interviewed by CommonWellTV, discussing what 1upHealth is doing to support interoperability in healthcare.

CommonWell was initially created to fulfill a critical need when it came to the healthcare IT industry, and Ricky was able to share his thoughts on how the industry is evolving given that new challenges emerge frequently. With the new release of ONC and CMS government regulations, there are many benefits of data sharing, “The biggest benefit is that now there’s patient mediated access available, and mandated by healthcare organizations… this will open up doors that previously did not exist… and improve patient reported outcomes,” mentioned Ricky when asked to share his perspective of the new regulations that were released earlier in the week.
