Production Access

To switch from 1upHealth’s Sandbox and enable production, you will need to follow a few steps. Work with your designated sales engineer, or feel free to email the documentation to

Setting Up Your Credentials

First, you will need to register as a developer to get access to the 1upHealth API keys. This will be needed to integrate directly with your application. Once you create an account, you will have the needed access credentials through the 1upHealth portal, and can start the integration.

On steps how to set up your credentials, visit our Quick Start guide. If you have questions on how to do this, reach out to your designated sales engineer. Otherwise, email us at

Setting Up Production Access

  1. Privacy Policy - email us your company's privacy policy for review. The key items we look for is how you handle data breaches, and notify your users should that happen. Review our privacy policy and HIPAA compliance requirements for details on the language, including security incident handling and notification to all parties involved.

  2. Terms of Service - email us your company's terms of service for review. You can also review our terms of service and HIPAA compliance requirements.

  3. Description of your application - this can be a brief (less than 250 words) description of what your company does. This will be used for marketplace purposes.

  4. Square logo of your app - this will be included alongside your company's brief description.

  5. Credit card information - after you’ve set up your credentials, store your credit card information in our development console. For more information on API pricing, check out our pricing structure.

After we receive the needed items, your sales engineer will turn on production access for you.

Please note:

  1. The Sandbox environment is completely separate from the production environment
  2. Currently we do not support multiple user accounts in the dev console for handling the same set of applications
